These Terms of Use govern your use of the Odomio mobile application, provided by Pavel Pestov. By downloading or using Odomio, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
- App purpose
Odomio is an offline utility for recording vehicle and fuel fill-up information, calculating fuel consumption, viewing trends and history, changing units and appearance, and exporting or restoring local backups.
Calculations and estimates shown by Odomio depend on the accuracy and completeness of the information you enter. They are provided for general informational purposes and may differ from vehicle displays, receipts, tax records, official measurements, or actual costs.
- Safe use
Do not enter data, read the screen, or otherwise operate Odomio while driving or whenever doing so would be unsafe or unlawful. Stop and park safely before using the App. You are responsible for following traffic laws and using the App safely.
- Your data and backups
Odomio stores its working data locally on your device. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter and for maintaining backup copies when needed.
Exported backups may contain vehicle, odometer, fuel-volume, cost, currency, and preference information. Store and share backup files carefully. Restoring a backup replaces the current local App data after confirmation. We are not responsible for data loss caused by device failure, deletion, an incorrect or incompatible backup, actions of third-party storage services, or failure to maintain a usable backup.
- Acceptable use
You may use Odomio only in compliance with applicable law. You must not misuse the App, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, use it to harm others, or reverse engineer it where prohibited by law.
- Intellectual property
The App and its original content, design, branding, and software are owned by or licensed to Pavel Pestov and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for its intended purpose.
- Third-party services
If you export or share a backup through a third-party email, messaging, cloud-storage, or file-storage service, your use of that service is governed by its own terms and privacy policy. Apple’s services and the App Store are also governed by Apple’s applicable terms.
- Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Odomio is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will always be available, error-free, or suitable for every purpose, or that every calculation will be accurate.
Odomio is not professional automotive, mechanical, accounting, tax, financial, or legal advice. Consult an appropriate professional when a decision requires expert advice or verified records.
- Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pavel Pestov will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, opportunities, or goodwill arising from or related to Odomio or these Terms. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
- Changes and termination
We may update, suspend, or discontinue all or part of Odomio and may update these Terms. Continued use after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
- Applicable rights
These Terms do not limit mandatory consumer protection rights that apply in your place of residence.
