DayPush Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 26, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Pavel Pestov (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the DayPush mobile application (the “App”).
1. Overview
DayPush is an offline push-up tracker. The App does not require or create an account. We do not collect, receive, transmit, sell, or use personal information for advertising or tracking.
2. Information stored on your device
To provide its features, the App stores the following information locally on your device:
• workout records, including dates, daily goals, push-up counts, set times, and completion times;
• reminder preferences, including whether reminders are enabled, reminder mode, times, intervals, and minimum breaks;
• App preferences, including theme and language; and
• technical database information needed to maintain the local data format.
This information is used only on your device to show your daily progress, history and statistics, calculate goals, schedule reminders, and preserve your settings. The App does not send this information to us or to an App-operated server.
3. Information we do not collect
The App does not include advertising, analytics, crash-reporting, social login, cloud synchronization, or payment SDKs. It does not access Health Connect, Apple Health, location, contacts, photos, camera, or microphone. We do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising.
4. Notifications and device features
If you choose to enable reminders, the App asks for permission to display local notifications. On Android, it may also ask for permission to schedule exact alarms so reminders can appear at the times you select. Notification content is generated locally using your current daily goal and progress. You can disable reminders in the App or change notification permissions in your device settings.
The App uses device storage to maintain its local database. When you choose “Export JSON,” the App creates a temporary backup file and opens your device’s system sharing interface. You decide whether and where to send or save that file. Any destination you select, such as an email, messaging, file-storage, or cloud-storage service, handles the exported file under its own privacy policy. We do not receive the file.
When you choose “Restore from file,” the selected backup is read locally and, after your confirmation, replaces the App’s current local data.
5. Data storage, security, and retention
On Android and iOS, App data is stored in a local SQLite database. The App does not encrypt this database itself and relies on the security protections provided by your device and operating system. You should keep your device protected and store exported backup files securely.
Local data remains on your device until you delete individual workout sets, clear the App’s storage, or uninstall the App. Depending on your device settings, the operating system or a backup service you have enabled may separately back up App data. Those backups are controlled by you and the relevant platform or service provider.
A temporary exported backup may remain in the App’s cache until the operating system removes it or the App’s data is cleared. Copies that you save or share remain wherever you placed them until you delete them there.
6. Your choices and deletion
DayPush does not create an account, so there is no account for us to delete and no account data held on our servers.
You can delete an individual workout set from the Today screen. To remove all locally stored App data, clear DayPush storage in your device settings or uninstall the App. You must separately delete any exported backup files and any copies stored with services you selected.
For detailed instructions, see the Delete DayPush Data page
7. Support communications
If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your email address, device details, and description of an issue. We use it only to respond to and manage your support request. Email is handled by the relevant email providers and is not collected through the App. Do not send workout backups, health records, passwords, payment card details, or other sensitive information.
8. Children’s privacy
The App is a general wellness tool and is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required in their country. Because the App has no account or server data collection, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the App. If a child contacts us by email and you believe personal information was provided, contact us so we can take appropriate action.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if the App or applicable requirements change. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the effective date.
